CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS AT HAMLEY STUDIO
Hamley Studio of Fine Art runs oil painting and drawing classes on Wednesdays, Fridays, Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. We also have several life painting and drawing sketch clubs on Thursdays. We work to a 10 week term. Our Wednesday and Friday classes have two sessions per day and you can book into either or both.
Below you will find information on session times and pricing, as well as links to more information and bookings for each class/session/workshop.

All of our classes feature individual tuition as well as demonstration by classically trained artists. All classes can be tailored to the needs of each student, so all levels of experience are welcome!
STILL LIFE AND BASIC DRAWING
Ideal for beginners and anyone interested in still life! Oil painting and drawing.

Whole day: 10am to 4:15pm (with 45 min lunch)

FIGURE PAINTING AND DRAWING

Evening class focused on the fundamentals of drawing and painting from life.

THURSDAY
Life model in an extended pose across 5 weeks - a chance for you to make finished artworks, from life, without tuition, in the company of other artists.

Price for 5 week pose:
$295 (= $59/day, 5.5hrs/day)
LIFE DRAWING/PAINTING
THURSDAY EVENING (SKETCH CLUB)
Life models in an hour of short, gestural poses followed by a two-hour long pose. Work in any medium you like!
